About Me

He makes matches stand and move in your hand, plucks thoughts from people's minds and even plants thoughts in their minds.
Chris Johnson blends an intriguing combination of NLP, mystery and ESP in a memorable form of entertainment for corporate and private functions.
Born and raised in Queensland, Chris Johnson started performing at the early age of nine years old.
Becoming professional by the age of 18, Chris started working for larger audiences from all walks of life at private parties, corporate events and anywhere a thought-reading entertainer was welcome. In that same year, Chris appeared on 6 episodes of Central Queensland television show, "Jenine's Jamboree" featuring singer and personality Jenine Vaughan.
By the age of 20, Chris set the media ablaze. First in 1992, he predicted the headlines accurately (9 words out of 10) which coincided with the riots of Los Angeles.
Four years later, almost to the day, he showed that he could predict the headlines of 2 newspapers at once. In each case, the prediction had been locked up a week in advance and kept by an independent committee who verified the contents later.
One of only a small handful of professional mentalists in Australia, Chris is a performer capable of working in a wide arena of venues.

My Interests

Events by Eventful
My interests are varied although I do spend a lot of my free time watching movies or reading.
Besides that, I also enjoy creative things such as computer generated art. Years ago, I started using a rendering program called POV-Ray which some artists use in creating 3 dimensional art. You can see some examples in my image galleries. It does take some mathematical thought and visualisation but the results, when applied well, can be stunning.

I'd like to meet:

Other people involved in the entertainment industries such as singers (and musicians), speakers, mentalists, hypnotists, actors, journalists, photographers, entertainment agents, entertainment promoters, presenters, etc.
I also like to surround myself with positive people, people with a drive and ambition, and people who are particularly creative. In particular I enjoy people who are motivated and are willing to take responsibility for their own actions and decisions in life.
A sense of humour is something I also value greatly.... and a sense of wonder.
