Youth Movement Records is a youth-run record label from Oakland. Since its inception YMR has released four albums and have performed on stages in and around the Bay Area and across the U.S. All music, recording and marketing is fully conceived and executed by YMR participants. YMRs most recent Northwest tour supporting Amnesty Internationals Make Some Noise concert had them performing alongside Incubus, Collective Soul and Tom Morello of Audioslave. The YMR artist collective has performed with a diverse range of acts that include KRS-One, Zion I, Mistah FAB, Dead Prez and through their friends at the Grammys has had private workshops with Kanye West, Babyface and Anthony Hamilton.
