Young Mix, born on September 3rd at General Hospital, he is one of the youngest and most devoted upcomming Latin artist in the San Francisco Bay Area. The 17 year old rapper/music engineer/producer has accomplished high achievements in the Bay Area music scene which will soon grant him local recognition. Mix has been rapping since the 7th grade, and the rhymes only get better. He has been blessed to be at a school which provides a high education, which has helped him realize the troubles and struggles from his notorious neighborhood- the Mission District. The Mission District is well known for its appreciation of the Latin Culture; meanwhile, it is also known for the gang activity, the drug trafficking, and organized crimes. Though Mix has been cought up in neighborhood problems, Mix has been focused and dedicated with his music, and trying to take this music career further than the Bay Area. He has worked with artists such as DEO (Evenodds), San Quinn, Equipto, Big Rich and 3 Story Muzik, T.D. Camp, Authentic Mind Crew Ent., Jinxx (From MoBetta Ent.), and many more. He is currently working on his first official mixtape "Grind Mode: Tha Hustle Don’t Stop" Vol. 1. This mixtape is just a sample of the life of this young and eager rapper- from the hood stories to a lyrical assassination to inspiring and goal reaching music.
On December 22nd 2007, Mix created his official record label Authentic Mind Crew Entertainment, it currently has signed 9 artist. The label focuses on expanding and creating more Music and Art, help artist promote their projects, market music, do shows, and record at a Music Industry level.
