sileni = currently occasional alter-ego of chris leamy, sometimes from boston, USA but lately in kiev, ukraine.
producing somewhat abstract d'n'b riddims under this name since 2000, continuing only sporadically these days but there seem to be a few releases still coming out here and there. originally influenced by randomly slammin' d'n'b 12" releases from the mid-to-late 90s (early dillinja, boymerang, danny breaks, alaska/paradox, tru playaz, early virus, early optical, no u-turn, polar, jonny l, certificate 18, blame, fuze, juice, spirit, photek, digital etc.), more recent efforts went in a less organic direction, influenced more by weirder techno and sound design sorta shit. these days i make a lot of techno loops and not much d'n'b, who knows what will happen to this name in the future, nothing or everything or whatever.
