Thermal Recordings (where'd Merit go?)

Montgomery's Flea Market...it's just like a mini-mall.

About Me

I have a label called Thermal Recordings..you can check it on the web at http://www.thermalrecordings.com, I also dj as "Sifu"...I'm kinda tired of that name, but I've dj'd with it for so long, I'm stuck with it. I have produced under "Sifu", "H.$.O." and "Stoners at Work" (I don't smoke though). Working on a new project with a Seattle vocalist named Lady Kayle...more to come.
Thermometer Records is the new sister label to Thermal. It will put out house, techno, downtempo, rock...whatever.
I like to make music on my laptop and play bass and am currently taking drum lessons.
Just got an Access Virus Polar TI...sick!!!!!!
I have begun knitting...I make beanies...I might have to post some pictures.
I practice Anusara and Iyengar Yoga with a private instructor.
Oakland is my hometown, my family and people live there. I lived there for 35 years and recently moved. I love and miss the "Town".
I love to read but I never have time...I have no time!
I like chocolate and more chocolate. I love the Vosges Brand Chocolates www.vosgeschocolate.com they have more than a couple of bars that have sea salt in them (and bacon too!).
One of my favorite things is when my wife hollas out "WOOT!"
Nothing better than a nice steak and a bottle of Brunello.
I have a bit of a Bourbon thing. I collect and drink Whisky with an EY, but I also like Whiskey with a Y.
Gardening and photography are hobbies of mine...I need to post pictures of my succelent garden.
I am happy to know a lot of bands and musicians on here. Feel free to send me your links to listen to, but I really don't want your advertisements on my Comments page. Sorry, but I will not accept advertisements...nothing personal...keep on truckin'
