I have a crush on the Loch Ness Monster -- The Best Crazy Homeless Guy Ever

About Me

I'm very average. I can write pretty well. I like music and books and other nerdy things like comics, video games, and Dungeons and Dragons. I work in a music store. My favorite band is Sleater-Kinney. I have a pretty neat blog at: http://talesfromtreasureisland.blogspot.com/

My Interests

Writing. I muck about in many formats, though as of late I've been very interested in animation and comics (unfortunate since I cannot draw).I'm a pretty big gamer. Not so bad as to lock myself inside for a month but I have been known to waste a day on the PlayStation or on a D&D game with my friends.I watch a ton of movies. Tried screenwriting and wasn't bad at it, but I'm not dedicated enough.I listen to a lot of music. I used to be all upitty up on the "hip new stuff" but I really don't keep track any more. I listen to a lot of stuff from the 80's underground.I play piano. I'm kind of good, but I never practice.I'm very lazy.

I'd like to meet:

Uh, people? Unless there are penguins on here. Penguins are so awesome.

Convoluted, detuned bass line.

I am moving out very soon.   Woooooooooooo.   Yeah, I'm nervous... but that nervousness is being crushed by overwhelming excitement.

Sometimes Your Favorite Band Breaks Up.

The Last Beat. It's a... bittersweet (I hate that word, but it was the best I could grasp at the moment) event when your favorite band breaks up. While I'm glad that Sleater-Kinney never had to go thro...

Yep.

I'm in SF visiting Jennie right now.   The room I'm going to be moving into has the most rediculous view.  Seriously.  Like, postcard status.   Rediculous....
