Baltimore High School

'Cause your boyfriend's really talented!

About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4We've all made jokes about the Smalltimore hipster scene being like high school- let's embrace the notion and ORGANIZE! Our mission is to provide a structure for getting things done. The Baltimore scene is a party without a good host. We need good people to help make introductions, mix up the seating, and connect quiet talent with the extroverts who can help them network. Back in real high school, we had afterschool clubs and team sports, dances and committees. Yeah, we didn't join them then, but they were a good idea, and we've matured! You don't have to meet new people by hitting on them at the Club Charles. Anyone who'd like to start a club is welcome. Use the comment area as a bulletin board to advertise your happy hour or event.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Do you ever feel trapped at your corner cafeteria table? Baltimore has a lot going on, but sometimes it can be hard to find. Techically, BHS is more like a Myspace group, but forming an independent entity allows us to take a more active role in the networking process. However, we can't do it alone! (and anyway, that's not the point!)Do you consider yourself a Senior at Baltimore High? We're looking for people to start an Art Club for Baltimore's visual artists, a Drama Club for theatre lovers, Music Club, AV club, Debate team, even sports teams (mascot ideas, anyone?) We need a Steering Committee to help bring it together and organize events. We want to bring gallery owners closer to artists, musicians together with bands, introduce web designers to people who need them, etc. Anybody trying to make a go of it in a creative field could use a hand. Let's make a community at Baltimore High.
