The best-looking little magazine in town releases its fifth issue with one of its now customary convivial evenings of music and good vibes. Issue 5 of Locus, the arts magazine founded by Emily Hunter and Arthur Soontornsaratool, spotlights eight emerging artists--Jennifer Grimyser, City Paper contributor Dina Kelberman, Jessica Langley, David Linneweh, Katherine Mann, Jenny Mullins, Matt Porterfield, and D'Metrius Rice--and features a Kelberman cover. The bands Teenage Souls, Andy Abelow, Beans, and the Owls Go provide the sounds for the eve. Cheers.(Bret McCabe, CITY PAPER)
