Tom Brown of Baltimore

If you're not working with me or for me, then you can die now. You're getting nowhere without me.

About Me

Talking to me is like investing in a company...you might get a return. You might not... Invest at your own risk.
It is a dream come true to know me....or so I've been told (by myself).

I think if there is racism floating around out there, sometimes people pick it up without knowing it. It is kind of like: "You are what you eat." Some people knowingly indulge in it, while others aren't quite aware that what they are doing is racist. Growing up in Baltimore, MD, I am 100% sure that I have picked up on some of these racist thought patterns that are floating around and so I may need people to remind me from time to time that I have racism floating around inside of me.

My Interests

Art. I want to open a gallery one day.

I'd like to meet:

Artists. Chess players. IT people. Historians. Musicians.People in the same Venn Diagram as me.

Music:

"Tala rasa ranga" by Ravi Shankar; "In the early morning rain" by Peter, Paul, and Mary; Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 in C-Sharp Minor;

Movies:

"Moog", "Inconvenient Truth", "American Splendor", "Jackass 2", "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"

Television:

TV is for suckers. Can I come over and watch TV some time? I don't own a TV.

Books:

I like non-fiction. I am reading the 1995 book called Resisting the Virtual Life. It seems really appropriate. I got it for free from the Baltimore Book Thing.

My heroes are people who are more effective than I am.

My Blog

Our lives

The intro theme to "Good Times"
