Turn It Up & Lay It Down - Jam CDs for Drummers!

About Me

Put an image at the top of your profile!
My name is Spencer Strand.

My friends call me Spence. First and foremost, I'm a drummer. Always have been, always will be. I've spent my life playing along to records, tapes and CDs, all with one goal in mind - to learn how to hang with the big boys. That means being able to groove and swing like a mofo and have impeccable time. Secondly, it means that when it's time to solo, I can throw down with the best of them.
To that end, I've created a CD series that will help ANY drummer of ANY age, ANY skill level who likes ANY style of music. It's called "Turn It Up & Lay It Down" .
There are 6 CDs in the series covering rock, funk, jazz, metal, pop-punk, blues, even Latin! The CDs feature backing tracks with a click that you can turn on or off. Volumes 1 and 2 are mostly bass tracks and cover a broad spectrum of styles. Volume 3 is all about today's rock and has killer bass and guitar tracks to jam along with. Volume 4 is all jazz and features some of New York City's baddest session cats. Volume 5 is not for the meek - it's all metal, all the time. Make sure you've got your double pedal on for this one. The latest is Volume 6 - "Messin' Wit Da Bull" and will make you a master of 70's Funk. This one's got more grooves than a waffle iron!
