He also received an endorsement deal from Pearl Drums & Vater Percussion, made numerous television & radio appearances, was featured in Modern Drummer Magazine, recorded & preformed live for thousands of people all over the United States with legendary rock musicians. Not a bad start for a 4th grader from Detroit Michigan. Jason has been very lucky to be able to study and sharpen his drumming skills while under the guidance of some of the greatest rock drummers living today. Tommy Clufetos (Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper & Ted Nugent), Charley Grover ( Sponge, Paper Street Saints) & Jason’s Drum Idol Corky Laing (Mountain Mississippi Queen, West Bruce & Laing, Meat Loaf). Jason has also Recorded and performed with Guitar Greats Richie Scarlet (Ace Frehley Band, Sebastian Bach Band, Mountain), Detroit Guitar Ledged Jim McCarty (Mitch Ryder Band, Cactus, The Rockets), on vocals Detroit’s own answer to Judas Priest’s Rob Halford Donnie Smith (Krank 9) & Donnie J (Who has worked with Jason since he was 5 yrs old). August 2006 brought Jason to New York, cutting tracks with Drumming greats Anton Fig & Carmine Appice for the Richie Scarlet “Revelation Supreme” CD that was released in October of 2006……………..In the winter and spring 2007 Jason filled in on the drums for the local Detroit band Krank Nine, who’s drummer was recovering from a terrible work related accident. After much thought Jason tried the concept of working and performing with other “kid musicians” that were closer to his own age. Unfortunately he was unable to find a complete band that has the experience and that could perform at the high level required for working as a professional in the studio and live shows……………On May 25th of 2007 Jason was invited to do a last minute show in Milwaukee, and drum for his favorite band “The Brian Schram Band” after a one hour rehearsal with Brian and Dave of the Schram band, Jason was off to Milwaukee of do the gig. After a stellar performance with the band, Jason was asked by Brian Schram to join the band permanently and has be seen allover the Midwest performing with his new band ever since……..KEEP A WATCH FOR NEW AND EXCITING THINGS COMING FROM JASON SOON, including a Nationally released drum instructional DVD ……………..As it has been said and written about Jason....."NO GIMMICKS HERE.. JUST THE REAL DEAL” MY FIRST CD RELEASE, I RECORDED IT WHEN I WAS 8 & 9 YEARS OLD. IT WAS PRODUCED BY CORKY LAING, AND FEATURED MEMBERS OF THE ACE FREHLEY BAND, MOUNTAIN AND GUITAR GREAT’S RICHIE SCARLET & JIM MCCARTY THIS IS WHEN IT ALL STARTED FOR ME. I AM LUCKY TO ALWAYS BE ABLE TO HANG OUT WITH MY FAVROITE BAND "MOUNTAIN"
