Here is what you need to know about me:
I dislike social niceties and consider them to be hindrances to real communication. I demand the freedom to do as I choose -- I must be self- directed or I feel trapped and anxious. I value neatness and order above all else. I rigorously practice very high standards of living and conduct and I demand the same of everyone I come in contact with. I am a perfectionist. An idealist, I prefer the grand, the beautiful, the good and the noble. I am independent and free, and I want others to be that way, too. My life tends to be punctuated by bursts of energy and frenetic activity. I am a friendly and outgoing person, I hate to be alone. I have an innate desire to be in refined and elegant surroundings. I have heightened aesthetic sensibilities. My every action is motivated by high moral standards and ideals. I resist mightily any attempts to limit my freedom and I will assist anyone who feels put down and restricted.
My journey began about 6 years ago. I was a commercial production intern at 97.1 FM when it was still FM talk. It was honestly the coolest experience EVER. When my time there was up, I became a news writing intern for Metro/Shadow Westwood One. I guess I impressed someone in charge, because shortly after I began that internship, I started filling in for some on air shifts doing the traffic. When I was 19, I was offered a job as a TV Traffic Anchor for the NBC affiliate in Toledo Ohio. I was good at it, but I didn't like it- that made it hard. Within a few months, I was offered a radio traffic reporting job for Metro/Shadow in Detroit. When I was 20, I started filling in for Traffic on the legendary "Deminski and Doyle" show. Somehow they liked me, and I became their permanent traffic girl for the next 3 years. They included me in lots of on air discussions and made me feel like I was "one of them." In the spring of '06, I began working with weekend shows like "Hamtramck House Party", and the "Eric and Carson Show." I was a phone screener/assistant producer, and I had the time of my life. In summer/fall '06, I got another AWESOME gig. I became the Lion's "Game Day Hottie." I got to go out to the post-game broadcasts with Parker and The Man. My job was to walk around the crowd with a microphone and get the crowd's reaction to the game and the show. I absolutely LOVED it. I got to interact with the fans and basically just have a great time. Sadly, in fall of '07, Deminski and Doyle's contract came to an end. Those guys were like a second family to me- I was working with and learning from the best of the best. My fondest memory of those guys was when I did my traffic reports, they would have pre-recorded sound bites of me- usually when I said something completely retarded- and they would play those sound bites over my traffic. When I am not working, my regular life is pretty cool too. I loooove being with my super cool family and my gorgeous friends. I enjoy Hawaiian Tropic/Barefoot Wine pageants and modeling. I have 2 cats- Jager and Scooter, a Dog named Cody, and 2 pet rats named Chuck and Bob. I LOVE animals. They are my babies. I am living proof that hot chicks can be "crazy cat ladies" too LOL.
