Graveside Manner was formed in January 2008, when singer / guitarist / evil songwriting genius Grim Gravesly and merciless drummer Skatello made a Faustian bargain with burly-but-lovable bassist George Morbid : to cobble together a psychobilly unit that would make Dr. Frankenstein proud. The final piece of the puzzle fell into place when the fiends invited Dead End Eddie Doyle to throw his world-weary blues guitar into the bubbling cauldron that is Graveside Manner. After concocting a witches brew of new tunes showing influences such as Jack Scott, Hank Williams, Marty Robbins, the Misfits, Paladins, Johnny Cash, The Meteors and more than a little PBR, the band was ready to begin their reign of terror. In February 2008 Graveside Manner was finally unleashed on a (mostly) unsuspecting public. They have shared the stage with The Goddamn Gallows, Cash O’Riely, The Swingin’ Demons, The Amino Acids, NY’s own Coffin Daggers, and Toronto’s Buzz Deluxe. Not a group to rest on their misguided laurels, Graveside Manner has cut a swath at venues such as the Painted Lady in Hamtramck, The Machine Shop in Flint, Detroit’s Old Club Miami, The Ritz in Warren, and Westland’s Token Lounge – with eyes toward an even longer list of venues upon which to unleash their horror. In addition, they have been featured on Wolfman Mac’s Nightmare Simena, and Hellbilly Wreckhouse radio.Graveside Manner can be found at www.myspace.com/gravesidemanner, at [email protected], or wherever lost souls gather (for more than a little PBR).I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
