------In 2000 Giacomo Lariccia leaves Italy to study at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. During those five years full of music he meets the young musicians - Benjamin Ramos, Jonathan Callens, Nicolas Kummert and Pascal Mohy - with whom he starts playing standards and his own compositions in some of the most important jazz club in Brussels (Botanique, Jazz Marathon, Armillaire Jazz Nights, Music Village, Sheraton, Sounds jazz club).In 2004 the group is selected to participate to the Young Talents podium in the Jazz Marathon of Brussels and wins the 2nd prize.In the group is enriched of the musicality of Olivier Stalon (el bass) and Sabin Todorov (Pn). ------------------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------The GLQ recorded not only a musical journey but wanted to introduce into its music a strong message: the importance of dialogue between two worlds that today seem unable to communicate.
In " Cantico" Barbara Wiernik and Ghalia Benali sing a beautiful love poetry in Hebrew and Arabic: (…) Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it(…).The participation of both singers, Barbara Wiernik and Ghalia Benali, introduces a new element of musical dialogue as two disparate traditions meet: electric jazz and oriental music.

In the songs of the CD (all compositions are original) the balance between intimacy and rhythmic power is very important: if guitar, live electronics, saxophone lead to an open atmosphere, the bass, the piano and the drums create a very energetic mood. Often in the same composition, according to the structure or the improvisation, music passes from one mood to an other.-----------------------------------------------------H
