The SideStep Project began in spring 2006 on the underground Manchester radio station - Unity Radio. By the end of the summer SideStep found themselves homeless, and wishing to continue to push thier own sound SideStep founded the 6 Degrees Studio.
Deep within Whalley Range the Project began to take shape. A new website, sidestepmusic.com was established streaming fortnightly sessions, with the aim to promote quality music, from anyone and anywhere.
