I like to read, I like to write, I like to travel...I love life. I have a group of friends that I met a decade or so ago, more, perhaps, and we attend phlockings when we can, and otherwise, just keep in touch. They are my mainstay. There's nothing in the world more important that good friends--and maybe a boatdrink now and then.
I'd like to meet:
I'd like to meet Thomas Jefferson--I already know the next best thing.There are a few people I'd like to meet in person, but one way or two, I'm pretty happy with the folks I know already.

A little bit of everything, jazz, Creole, reggae, classical, you name it. Jimmy Buffett, John Hiatt, Eric Clapton, The Who, Tony Head, The Kinks, Bob Marley...I could go on...
Movies:
The classics – Casablanca, The Big Sleep, To Have or Have Not, Key Largo, The Big Shot, The Petrified Forest (okay, so I’m a Bogie fan…), Gaslight, Break of Hearts, Back Street… I could go on, but you get the idea…
Television:
When I watch TV, I usually love the documentary stuff – or Law and Order –the original.
Books:
I love books...all kinds of books. I love books I write, books I read-- The Magician's Nephew, Once and Future King, Great Expectations, Down and Out in Paris and London, The first five Harry Potter books, Patricia Cornwell--most of hers, Stephen King, Dean R. Koontz, W.E.B. Griffin--I have eclectic taste--Lucy Monroe, Mae Powers, Jaci Burton, Sasha White,Tilly Greene, B.A. Tortuga, Beth Williamson, Laura Baumbach--so many more. Freinds all, and brilliant authors...
Heroes:
Everyone has hero moments. I"m greatful to each tidbit of inspiration I get.Thank you for being my hero today.
