La Sorcière Noire is the Nightside and Darkwave musical grimoire of Lylyth A’zal, who creates a dark/ritualistic/industrially-textured music based on Left Hand Sinister Currents, Sabbatic Craft, Typhonian and Mythos Magick (Lovecraftian), Gnostic Voudoo (ala Michael Bertiaux).and the Necromantic and Vampyric Arts. She also composes and performs sensuous serpentine music for the Gothic Belly Dance community, using a Persian Santur and Kamancheh, Turkish Saz and Yayli Tambur and a Najarian electric oud.
La Sorcière Noire has 3 film-music credits, one of which the Sundance Company bought and aired nationally, and another soundtrack in an indie film which aired at Cannes film-fest.
As her own engineer, she currently records and mixes with Logic Studio 8, Native Instruments Komplete 5 with Kore and Guitar Rig, Reason 4, Ableton Live 7, Spectrasonics RMX, Atmosphere and Waves Platinum.
