I love so many things, it's hard to list. I love music, reading, books, writing, guitar, keyboards, drawing, science, philosophy, theology, art, computers, gaming, walking, nature, photography, electricity, electronics, hi-fi, mechanics, furniture. As you can see, I love obscure stuff. If it's mainstream, I general hate it or at least don't like it. I love stuff that nobody knows about, whether they are books, music or film. Love lots of international stuff and generally don't like anything American, even though I am. I absolutely love mythology and fantasy, be it Greek, Norse, Assyrian or otherwise. I am drawn to dark, Gothic and macabre things.
I'd like to meet:
Anybody and anyone. I would like to meet artists, unique and different peoples. Any kind of artist whether it be music, drawing, painting, clothing, photographers, performance or whatever. Doesn't have to mean they are making a living off it or are well known. Love gothic people and people who know how to express themselves and aren't afraid of what other people think of them. People who hate the system, the world system and all the corporate crap. Those who dare to be different and are creative.
Music:
I listen to everything from pop to rock to metal to country and back again, although my main focus, especially with composing is metal. I also love ambient and dark ambient music which many people don't know about. Favorite artists are Summoning, Dimmu Borgir, Tanya Donelly, Heather Nova, Lustmord, Sleep Research Facility and Thomas Koner. Black metal and ambient are my favorite genres of music.
Movies:
Horror, drama, fantasy, sci-fi, fantasy. Favorite films are probably Spawn, the animated HBO series, not the real one with real actors, Subspecies and The Story of O, Vampyres, Willow, Merlin, Pirates of the Carribean, Silent Hill (definitely one of my favorites) and the like. The Pianist is great and I also like Disney stuff like Finding Nemo and Cars.
Television:
Don't really watch television and I hate reality TV and talk shows, which is pretty much what TV is in America. Some series are good that I like such as Carnivale, Revelation and Roseanne.
Books:
I like to read and get into stuff that nobody reads or understands. Theology, Philosophy, Physics, Optics, Geometry, Calculus, Engineering, Computer Programming, Hardware manucturing, Hi Fi, Mythology. But I do like some novels like cold mountain or the secret life of bees. Favorite books probably are The Bible (no I'm not just saying that), Neitzche, The Lord of the Rings, Summa Theologica and some technical stuff. Love technical manuals. Basically stuff that nobody reads or understands except university professors. Total nerd.
Heroes:
Not sure if I have one of those. There are people I admire, but nobody I've modeled my life after.
