.. AFROBLU is a quarterly after-hours dance ritual launched in October 2006 that is produced and hosted by PEJU ALAWUSA aka Yorubawoman & ASHARA EKUNDAYO of BluBlak Media in Denver, CO.

AFROBLU, a Multi-media Dance Celebration of Love, Life, & African culture through AfroBeat, Deep-House, NuSoul & other spirited music fuses performance art & social change. Our 2008 Partners (so far) include; VITAMINWATER, MAGNET MAFIA, and with RESIDENT DJs: RJ DURAN, and MATTHEW BANDY (Limestone Recordings), OFFBEAT (DeeperShadesofHouse.com,NYC). AFROBLU also hosts international guest deejays, performance artists, and live musicians. Guest DJs have included: Carlos Mena, Jeremy Sole, Offbreat, Kemit, Troublemaker, RJ Duran, Peter Black/Aztec, K-Nee, Ben Dismore, Brent Crampton w/ Shif-D, Sabine, Korie, Alton Miller, Ivy, Jon Nedza, and Rich Medina.
