Poodwaddle.comJust when you think you've seen and done it all; you meet someone that did it all 'last year'. Despite that, I feel I have had a fairly meaningful existence myself thus far.I've kina dedicated this site to the music side of me but trust me, there is a lot more to this old school bruda from da Nort Weezy (That’s London NW10).I was introduced to music by life, but was thrown against it when at the tender age of 14, my two uncles allowed me to lean up against their speaker boxes whilst they went to get the van. Back then, this was a huge honour. Especially when you live in a part of London and in a time when being in a sound was like being made. Even if you were just a 'Box Bwoy'. T.P.A was the name of the sound. It in fact is a movement and helped shape me. It definitely changed my life.But anyway... That soon lead to becoming a sound man of my own standing when my brother, a few of the guys from school and I set up 'Freakeristic Soul Sound'. We actually did quite well and got to tour the UK. Notting Hill Carnival was our annual Mash Up. Got my start in the radio world on pirate stations in London. Time FM, Beat FM and many more. I was later the founder member of West London favourites 'Prime Time' (With Rock D, Troubler Ranks and crew) and 'The Family' (with Mellow, MC CKP, DJ Harvey & Troubler Ranks). 'The Family' became quite successful and we set up our own studio and production house. The now infamous 'RockStone Productions'. It's a Stonebridge thing!! Big Ups to all those we worked with including The Shadow Cabinet, the Original Sun Cycle crew Dolomite, Chucky Star & Naf Skrilla, Ritchie Dan, Superflex, Bubbler Ranks, Glamour Kid, Black Ice, Tubby T, Shauny T, Scientists of Sound, Bani and many more. I've also managed and worked in various studios most notably 'Xosa' with Dean Zepherin, Wayne Antoine, Brain Tax and C-Swing to name a few. Anyway, it goes on... I moved to the U.S in 2002 and have hooked up with a couple of Ex-pats and we have formed "Global Moods" a sound and Promotions Company. Our style is unique borrowing from our U.K, Caribbean and African cultures and marrying them with the vibes and influences of the black capital of America and probably the World. Atlanta Georgia.
