id like to meet,Like minded people. especially other drummers of any sex, age, ability and genre.
ive been playing drums for 16 years and ive never enjoyed it as much as i do right now and thats all it should be about,fun, drumming is not a competition its not about who can be the fastest or the most technical. in my opinion anyone who thinks like that should give up drums and go play the guitar. my current band is: OBLIVION GENE. but ive had the honour and pleasure of playing in many bands including, WIDESTRETCH ( WITH LENA ABE WHO NOW PLAYS WITH MY DYING BRIDE)WAFTY CRANK (WITH TIMMY WHO NOW PLAYS WITH MR SHIRAZ), MARY JANE and PANDEMONIA. i do the occasional bit of session work and teaching, if anyone is interested message me. My current set up is:.....6pc MAPEX m series birch in transparent midnight black.10x8 rack tom,12x9 rack tom,13x10 rack tom,16x16 floor tom,22x20 bass drum,14x5.5 snare......10x5 PRO M steel snare.....i use ZILDJIAN cymbals which consist of:.....13" z custom dyno beat hi hats,12" z custom splash,16" z custom rock crash,17" z custom rock crash,18" z custom rock crash,18" z custom china,21" z custom mega bell ride,9.5" zilbel.........AHEAD "rock"/ VIC FIRTH metal n sticks,.....TAMA "iron cobra" double pedal with cobra coil,.......EVANS ec2 drumheads,.........some of my favourite bands include,.....Deftones, Machine Head, Soulfly, Korn, Biohazard, Hatebreed, Mastodon, Eden Maine, etc
my favourite films are horror or anything Sick and Gory or any with Drew Barrymore in.
