Dirt was formed late in 1994 in Texas by Rick Wiggins. After many years of hard work and good times Dirt started to really pull together and gain a great following with the release of "From Dirt We Come", produced by Dez from Coal Chamber (now DEVIL DRIVER). Dirt gained national notoriety and set off to tour the continental US. Touring with the likes of Pissing Razors, Deep, Dog Fashion Disco, Tub Ring and many others, Dirt has also shared the stage with Testament, Flotsam & Jetsam, Danzig, Deconstruct, S.O.D., Lizzy Borden, Malevolent Creation, Goat Whore, Soilent Green, Oppressor, 3 Inches of blood, Bad Wizard, Early Man, and many great Texas local bands. Dirt also got to mix it up with members of Fear Factory, Coal Chamber, Devil Driver, Pantera, Cypress Hill, God Forbid, and Iron Maiden, amongst many others. After touring and receiving great fan support across the country, Dirt came in from life on the road to start work on their second release – Ashes to Ashes. Dirt plans to hit the road once again to do what we love the most, playing live, meeting all of our fans and friends, and giving power to the pit!
