Hey, Tony Cox's album Blue Anthem featuring Benguela has won a SAMA award for best instrumental!
Just got back from JHB where we were adding finishing touches to Simon Van Gend's new album due out in early 2008 - the album was engineered by Joe Arthur of Freshlyground fame and features lots of fab work by Chris Letcher and is sounding bloody fantastic!
Also got to hear the final mixes of the new Tony Cox album which features Benguela as backing band - also sounding huge!Australian Tour - I got to play drums with Farryl Purkiss down under supporting
Bob Evans on his "Sadness and Whiskey" Tour. 24 dates. It was brilliant!
