CHRIS LETCHER
First and foremost with the fantastic and inspirational Chris Letcher. A guy I admired for the longest time before I got invited to go play. And what a ride its been, all over London, thousands of kilometres of dusty South African road on tour, South by Southwest 2007, New York so far and a pile of exciting stuff to come including a trip to Popkomm in Berlin. Chris's first solo album 'Frieze' will be released on September 24th (guitars and arrangement credits!) and what a piece of work it is, take a listen to the songs above. All this wrapped up in one of the most musically and personally rewarding bands I've ever worked with. Just the coolest and most diverse bunch of people you could ever want to meet.
NOVOCAIN
Novocain are back with a brand new vocalist, Yinka. The new songs are some great little electro-rock efforts and there are alot more great tunes in development. We've had our first gig with the new outfit at the Coca-cola Soundwave tour in the superb Concorde 2 in Brighton on July 5th, along with some of the UKs hottest new talent. Novocain gigs will be seldom but high profile, we're next taking on a slot at the Playtime customised fashion show where we'll be playing over some of the designers catwalks then playing a full set of music with a string section. Eyes peeled!
RICH WEBB
I play live guitars for Rich Webb when he's over in Europe, I'll be at the Popkomm festival in Berlin with Rich playing at the Hard rock cafe on September 19th. We'll also be playing at Melkweg in Amsterdam on September 29th.
They're all fantastic artists so get your ears round em, you can even go straight to their myspace pages to be chums!
Artists I've worked/gigged with in London in the past include the luscious Victoria Hume a.k.a. Moth, Sangeeta, Bo Derelict, Hablo el Diablo, Nine Dogs Deep, Rodez, Evi Vine, The Galligaskins, The $hots, Hardworkingband, The Grit, Majika and I've had a whole lot more random gigs with some fantastic people.
