My goal in life is now aimed at an outreach to
suppress & change prejudice toward the disabled (be anyone temporarily or permanently so for whatever reason), getting the word out about Autism (of which my youngest son has), and mostly about bringing knowledge to the unknowing population about TBI, Traumatic Brain Injuries (of which my oldest son is a victim). The general public seems ignorant thus prejudice about TBI when it's just about the most devastating injury there is where if it doesn't kill it will disable. AND it can also affect every other organ & function of the human body, & the irony is ANYONE can be a victim at ANYTIME (just by walking across a street, riding in a car, falling in your kitchen, being a recipient of an aggressive act, participating in any outdoor activity, etc. [FYI: Shaken Baby Syndrome is also TBI])!CHECK OUT SOME IMPORTANT AUTISM FACTS & INFORMATION BELOW TO THE RIGHT!

"It's a Wonderful Life," the unpretentious 20th century Christmas time Story that proves no matter how painful, down & out, lost, lonely, &/or worthless you think your life is -- YOU ARE meaningful with value, purpose, & destiny where you are Given A Gift, a choice to Understand, Believe, and Trust in LIFE . . . in its overall intrinsic Divine Destiny. *** I'll always enjoy FINDING NEMO w/my Autistic youngest son, Matthew Chandler, since NEMO born "handicapped" proved he still could be brave & overcome to become a Hero to his over-protective, worried yet loving parent besides to himself, and to all that believed & respected him throughout the trauma in his life. Kinda like "Life imitating (?)art/animation!" in the paradox-ed reversal situation to identify with (!!!) -- besides the fact FINDING NEMO was exciting, colorful, & just fun to watch! (by the way, FYI -- even some severely Autistic kids can swim [automatically & naturally] without even ever being taught! Amazing ain't it?!?! ***************

The rare times I watch TV I might catch Desperate Housewives & Boston Legal that are a Riot! House & Grey's Anatomy with interesting character development. But I really like Science, Nature, & History shows such as those like Nova found on PBS, A&E, TLC, Discovery, National Geographic, & History Channel.

[I called my Grdmother "Mae", she called me her "beautiful sweetheart," whom introduced me to Jesus in my earliest memory. I miss her sparkly way of letting me know I was special. And my Mom always a classy, glamorous lady as she toughed through things in Life including ME(!!!), so naturally they are my "Heroines."]*************************
My HEROES? My SONS; ----- even though They ARE MY "Special" Children; IF ANYONE/EVERYONE KNEW what they have suffered and gone through in their short lives (both on the BRINK of DEATH many times but tough enough to suffer to survive), they would appreciate & agree that each would be a "Hero" in the eyes of those wise of the world that we all suffer to understand. **** Also I appreciate another kind of Hero: a loyal friend, Patrick, that knows no prejudice by turning away when a friend (Garrett) has been near death & is tortured with suffering by defending his honor fending off bias, staying courageously faithful, and saving compassionate dedication & hope to see his friend through the long, difficult recovery. An unique Hero standing side-by-side with Garrett in fortitude & faith (as Garrett did w/his younger brother so many times). ***
But by Grace & Blessings of our Lord from the time you were born, as you saw death in the process to save lives you were given THE GIFT to be reborn, we THANK YOU GARRETT for your divine altruistic strength & gracious help with Matthew. And Thank you Matthew for teaching us to learn and the value of acceptance.****
****Garrett gave of himself to help raise his disabled & very ill little brother Matthew from the very beginning; yet when Garrett grew up and moved away starting on his own to LA, CA in his twenties to pursue bright new opportunities, his future was halted in a near fatal accident where he CHOSE TO SAVE others in sacrifice of HIS OWN LIFE. Always our Loving Thanks, Support, & Prayers are for ("Superman's")His continued miraculous recovery. *** I SEE NOW -- AS-- I BELIEVE! ***
