* Lisa Hewitt is the 2005 CCMA Independent Female Artist of the Year. She also received a nomination for the 2005 CCMA Rising Star Award. As well, Lisa has been nominated again (2005 & 2006) for the Canadian Music Week Independent Country Artist of the Year, as well, received a nomination for 2006 Independent Female Artist of the Year.
*Hewitt is preparing for an amazing fall, with the release of the brand new single, ..Somebody.. (penned by Steve Fox/Kelly Archer) from her current album which will coincide with the CMT Video Release as well as a feature presentation on CMT called ..Plucked.. which will highlight the talents of this strong, Canadian female artist.
