At the age of just 25,
Matteo is globally recognized as one of the fastest rising talents in the House music scene.
He has started DJing in his native Italy back in 1997, and has toured extensively from Rome to London, Ibiza, Moscow and New York, bringing his energetic DJ performances at some of the world most famous venues such as: Nikki Beach, El Divino, Miss Moneypenny's, Dusted and many more.
Simultaneously, Matteo (together with his studio partner Sant) has established himself as a highly regarded producer, and he is now becoming renowned for his unique brand of electronic - funky House music.
Over the past 5 years he has worked with dance music luminaries such as: StoneBridge, Chance, Barbara Tucker, Sabrynaah Pope, Steve Edwards, Taka Boom, Armand Van Helden and Robbie Rivera, releasing innovative productions (under various guises including Solsonik and Out Of The Box) for some of the best record labels such as: Manifesto / Universal, Warner, EMI Virgin, Cr2, Fatboy Slim's Southern Fried, Big Love, Nebula and Juicy Music, as well as remixing for House music classics such as: "Make The World Go Round" by Sandy B and "Clap Your Hands" by DJ Pierre & Marshall Jefferson.
His productions and remixes received so far regular DJ support from across the board from David Morales to Tony Humphries, Michael Gray, Bob Sinclar, Mousse T., Junior Jack, Claudio Coccoluto, Junior Vasquez, Dave Seaman, David Guetta, Sander Kleinenberg, Benny Benassi, Deep Dish and Judge Jules.
However it was his "Funk" single (featuring Corrina Joseph - former Basement Jaxx's vocalist) that made both the most influential DJ's and the major industry publications alike sit up and take notice. "Funk" is now licensed to Pacha Recording Ibiza for worldwide release soon.
With an upcoming production (featuring Katherine Ellis - of Raven Maize "Fascinated" fame) and an album compilation released early next year on V2 Music, and also remixes for: Simple Minds "Different World" coming soon on Sanctuary Records and Cassie "Long way 2 to" coming soon on P. Daddy's Bad Boy Entertainment, as well as a new U.S., Europe, Asia and Australia tour in the pipeline, future looks bright for Matteo.
On top of all, Matteo runs Cosmonote Blue - one of the most respected Italian House labels today.
