Starting on the turntables in the early 90ies as ambitious House Music artist, Andreas Thiessen was influenced by the US-House Sound of DJs like Louie Vega, David Morales or Frankie Knuckles.
Today the 35 year old German DJ, producer and remixer is one of the respected talents in the international dancemusic scene and always knows how to drop the right tunes at the right time.
He has played his always very percussion driven dj-sets at every top location all over Germany (Cocoonclub/Frankfurt, P1/Munich, Sage/Berlin) and in many of the European places-to-be!
Since 2004 his own event "Pleasure Club" takes regularly place in serveral german clubs.
As producer behind the project "Pleasure Bar", Andreas Thiessen released club-hits like "You got me", "Feel The Need" or "If Luv turns right" on Germanys famous record label "Milk&Sugar Recordings".
A track named "What You Are" was released on british deephouse-label "Soul Tonic Recordings".
After months of wild knobtwisting and endless nights working in the studio, in fall 2008 two new "Pleasure Bar" productions, "Get up" and "My love will lift you up" (feat. vocalist Gail Duncan) will be coming out on "Funk La Planet" and "Open Bar Music", both based in New York City, U.S., followed by some slammin remix-productions.
In 2005 he started working (together with Chillout producer J. Funk) on the project "Timbalestics".
The first single "The Vibe", was released on Syke..n..Sugarstarr..s label "Do the hip! Recordings" (Peppermint Jam)
and the second production "Meo Amor" saw the light of day on Seamless Recordings, U.K.
Andreas also worked as remixer for artists like Erick Morillo feat. Terra Deva(What Do You Want), Sabrynaah Pope (In Love Again), Steve Edwards (Thru The Night, DTPM Rec. U.K.), Milk&Sugar (Shut Up & Has Your Man Got Soul) or Physics (Don..t you want love, Bargrooves U.K.).
Doing so, he entered international dance-, dj and club-charts for several times.
His mixes and productions can be found on many successful CD compilations e.g. Bargrooves, Purobeach, Ritmo De Bacardi, Ministry Of Sound, Housemusic.de, Barlounge-Classics, Café Solaire, Nova Latino, Savannah Beach Club, Masters Of House, Klassik Lounge, just to name a few.
The first issue of his CD-compilation series "Pleasure Clubs Finest" (CKP, Poetsclub Records) was released in October 2005. The release-tour stopped at many major clubs all over Germany. "Pleasure Club..s Finest Vol. 2" saw the light of day in october 2006.
Currently he works on his next compilation-album that will come out in fall 2008, again guided by an internationl club-tour.
