I must say I for one am very excited, have a lot of new ideas and feel a certain change in the air, so I look forward to seeing what this brings.
Hope to be working on some more stuff with my hubbie and Russ Gabriel and will concentrate on getting my own label together. If there are any new producers out there young. old and not so old send me your stuff and I will def have a listen.
Hopefully going to learn the piano this year, as I am ashamed to say I cannot play a musical instrument, ( apart from my voice that is) haha.
When I was younger and had big dreams of being signed to a major, I sometimes felt that I was not in control of what type of music I was singing, what type of image I was portraying, now that I am older, with no sign of a major in place and in a lucky position that certain producers still wish to use me, for which I am eternally grateful, I am happier to sing what ever I want whether it be RnB, Hip hop, Funk, Reggae, Jazz, Blues, Garage, or House, Drum nd Bass the list goes on.
Not everyone will like it, but hopefully will keep an open mind when listening. Being able to make music that you are trully happy with, but that others will also like is very challenging, but I accept the challenge and scream bring it on.
Blessing's to all of the people who listen and like my music, it is you my friends that keep me uplifted and enthusiastic for what I do and for this I am eternally grateful.
