Abigail Bailey/Bigger Picture

After spending in the mid to late nineties as the lead singer of Jazz Funk band Obsession she turned her focus into the Dance Music Industry. After the 1998 release with Deluxe |Audio Hard Working and featuring on Don?t walk away in 1999 for Brighton based label Nightlife records Abigail has had the best years in her career to date. Hooking up with Manchesters own DJ/Producers Jason Herd and John Fitz they have released five collaborations in 2004 alone. She is climbing the ladder and establishing her self among the cream of female house music vocalists. Her voice has been described as angelic yet soulful with a twist of diva. Track are as: Tell me why J: Soul records Release the pressure Subliminal Soul Records Love yourself J: Soul records Feeling love J: Funk records Just Cant get enough Subliminal/AATW for 5th Dec 2005 Right before my eyes: Southside Hustlers for Toolroom Records/Data 2006 With the success and re-release of Just cant get enough on Subliminal Records and further on AATW for a commercial release on the 5th Dec 2005 which charted in the UK at Number 11 she has had her best year yet. radio play on Stations all over world including the UK stations, Galaxy FM network and now A listed on Radio One 2005 couldnt be better!Tour dates along side Erick Morillo Subliminal to include Cape Town and Buenos Aries as well as a tour with Jason Herd of OZ in Jan 2006....and her own tour of NZ and OZ in 2007!Other track include 2006 MYNC project "Somthing on your mind" released on the 10th July 06 on CR2/Apollo, In addition im working with long time business partner Mark Hoey and friend on several writting projects including the writting of the topline for the chris lakes smash "Changes which has made it track Pete tongs essential new tune again in june 2007. was released in September 2006 on Apollo and reached number 27 in the UK top 40 and was A listed on radio one!In addition to writting top-lines for other artists/producers she has now after many years of wanting too finaly taken up DJing combining live accpellas and chunky house in her sets following the release of this fused concept which she launched at the WMC in MIAMI 2007 she was quickly offered a residency at the highly acclaimed PUKKA UP night once a month at London's prestigious club PACHA.. since then she has played in Bel horizantie BRAZIL along side jorge jarmillio subliminal Garlands Liverpool Warehouse London Pacha London Sacha Beach Portugal And Dates all over the clubs of the UKInternational dates inc: Brazil /es-paradis IBIZA /Singapore/ Estonia/ Alacantie/ Spain /Sweden /and Cyprus/ as well as a further 3rd tour of OZ for summer 2008 yet to be confirmed but watch this space..........not only is she an in demand singer /writer working on many new tracks she now has decided to not only dj but has stepped into the studio and is now taking a lead role in co producing and producing her own tracks starting with a release with new act the beat agents and has teamed up with Jorge jaramillio ( Who the funk ) with more to come as well as remixes of future projects ...!!!!! abigail says " ive got the bug now it always been on the cards to do my own productions and now is the right time for me it goes hand it hand with djing and writting!
