Young rapper from Montreal, Quebec, The Insider was first known as Teeinjay. He started to rap at the end for the year 2000. In 2001, he made his first appearence on stage on his own performing the song "My new type of life" at Pie XII High School(Montreal, Qc). He had the occasion to collaborate with his great friend, Gatito for several years until now. The Insider was one of the first artists to promote his own self around the area of St-Leonard around the year 2003 when he came up with his debut album ''So Teeinjay'' that made a name for his self. Besides that, while he was in high school, he met a lot of good artists such as Sir Jaybee, Marokia, Jae Ridah, Lourdes, Travieso which whom he was part of "The Combination" and later on, JKP. The Insider then, became a pionner of that popular talent show called "The Fiesta" in his high school, performing with many artists including Massif Boy, a well known beatmaker of P-A-T. In early 2005, Gatito introduced The Insider to his executive producer DJ Neldy who afterward became The Insider's producer. Now the three of them are pretty much wroking on their projects on their own. The 20 year old rapper is now about to drop his new album "The Upcoming" in 2007, with featurings such as Gatito, STL Finest member Kash and many others.
