Born and raised in Montreal, Sir Jay (formely called Sir Jay-Bee) realized that he had a real passion for music when he was about 15 years old. The young haitian artist started with rap but quickly understood that reggae reflected him better. He released a first mixtape (Heavy target) in july 2005 that was very well welcomed by montreal's public. He also released a maxi (Heavy Duet) in august 2006 with another hot sensation and RnB talented singer, Marokia. Sir Jay has sang on stage and in studios with several other Hip hop artists in different Quebec cities.
