My parents realized I had "good" ears while I was trying to sing(or scream...)in tune with the vacumcleaner so they asked me if I wanted to learn an instrument . I started off with violin at the age of 6 and wanted to quit when I was about 13,14 but luckely my mother didn't let me . I started swiching to double bass at the age of 15 and a year later violine was history for me... Then I found out about the wonderful world of improvisation thanks to the citys jazz musicians . So I got hooked and never since have let go .After the NATO bombing in Serbia I went to Austria to study jazz in Graz with Prof. Wayne Darling , but after 3 years I felt I needed a bigger city and went to continue my studies in Cologne .
