Blue Deep ft. Neja C "I need you boy" (Gotta Keep Faith)
The latest release on Gotta Keep Faith is produced by Franco Martinelli, with sweet vocals supplied by Neja C. Lots of mixes to choose from, with the main version being on a soulful tip that gets taken to deeper grounds on the atmospheric 'Deep Space Mix' and 'Balearic Dub', with the later one spreading more warmness. Spiritual Blessings provide a deeply rumblin' reworking, while Grantorino serve a piece of pure underground. But there is more: an organic take by Carl Michael, a deep'n'bluesy interpretation by Christophe Pagliaroli, a slightly electronic jazz-funk spiced reworking by Jack In Da Box, and lastly OGC provide a lovely deep house variation. Blue Deep "Underground Tracks EP Vol.2" (EM)
Franco Martinelli presents the second EP in the "Underground Tracks" series, offering three tracks. First up is "Breath" featuring sexy female vocal chants over a deeply stormin' groove that is enriched with wicked keys. Next up is the resistless "Circular loop", a minimalistic deeply thumpin' track featuring slightly techified keys. Lastly there is the laidback "Pacific cruise" which features great harmonic keys over a deep yet smooth funktified groove. (Michael Fossati - spiritofhouse.com)

Deep and very sexy grooves slammin' your ears on this release, love the 'Breath' track a nice solid production thats very punchy and full of soulful heat. My other choice track on this ep is 'Pacific Cruise' deep and melodic builds steadily into a very tasty track, one of those tracks that grows on you with it's bass and keys hooking you in, great sounds! Soulfood feat. Deby "Don't be blue" (AX Music)
Soulfood (aka Franco Martinelli and Massimo Sottini) present their latest production "Don't be blue" on their own, brand new label AX Music. Featuring a sweet'n'sexy vocal performance by Deby, the uplifting "Don't be blue" comes in a variety of flavors. The 'Vocal Mix' is a groovy affair featuring wicked keys over a stompin' groove, while the 'Soulful Mix' is on a smoother tip that relaxes things a bit, giving it more of a laidback feel. This track found its way to me about a week ago and to be honest, I deserve a good kick up the posterior for not reviewing it sooner. You can expect a rich warm production style utilising a variety of keyboards and live bass to compliment Deby’s moody vocals. With two vocal versions and an instrumental included; so far I’m going for the “Soulful Mix” (review by Dean Serafini - jjazproject.com)

Italian producer Franco Martinelli presents the lovely "Underground Tracks EP" on Groove Sense Records that will bring back memories to all of those into house music since the early 90's as the three featured tracks are on an old-school deep house tip featuring wonderful melodic keys over deeply stormin' grooves. Italian DJ/Producer Franco Martinelli makes his mark with this great release as Blue Deep on Groove Sense Records. A tip top 3 tracker featuring some deep and soulful grooves to light up the dance floor. I have really got into this and find they have a very enjoyable sound.
