I am Pete. I am a musician and a composer. I don't really play any instrument as well as I would like, but well enough to make a sound and a melody. I write melancholy songs, because that state is the only time I feel anything worth singing about. I like to write random things that pop into my head onto napkins, receipts, bathroom walls, etc... I often forget not to rely on my best intentions.. I like real people...kind people...creative people...people who DON'T claim that they have everything figured out about religion and/or politics, people who put other people before themselves and people who look like elves... I have composed scores for certain award winning indie films, which I love doing because it allows me the freedom to mangle sounds and get away with it. I like cooking. I like eating raw fish...I like forests. I like wine and aged cheeses, together or alone. I have a fetish for vintage instruments, microphones, and analog recording equipment. I like to build my own effect pedals. I like to build my own cables for the studio, so I can attest to their quality and endurance. I like lox and bagels. Good scotch makes me smile. I respect eastern cuisine more-so than any other culture. I like baking my own artisan breads during the first snowfall of the year, adding Calamata olives if I am feeling frisky. I like snow. I like dark beer, dark chocolate and strong coffee... I love my niece, Gena Victoria (who is only 2 years old, and frightens me everyday with her intelligence). I love living... I am generally a happy person who does not allow himself the freedom to be so free all of the time.
