I am an aspiring stand-up comic, and writer. I've done "gigs" at such places like National American University, Todd's Place, Beaver Creek Country Club, and of course Nitwits Comedy club.I've always loved stand up comedy...I've lived for it pretty much my whole life. I've sat on my ass watching everyone live their dream...and hopefully I can live mine soon. I won 2nd place at the September 2006 open mic at Nitwits...guess it doesn't really mean anything...But hope it does sometime. I'm hoping to get gigs in other states and cities all over the upper midwest, even if it is just open mic nights.Other than that, I live in Luverne, MN with my wife, Angie and two cats. I work at Esurance as a customer service rep. Pretty blah life. I'm a laid back guy that tries to take life as it comes. I take life like a humble comic...with humility and sense of humor.Your results:

Heroes:

Eddie Gossling,Greg Morton, Kirk Noland, Lewis Black, Josh Gulseth...to name a few. Eddie Gossling is just so funny and off the wall kind of cat...I love his style of comedy. Greg Morton and Kirk Noland actually talked to me after their shows and encouraged me to follow my dreams and never give up. Lewis Black is probably the funniest comics I know and can only hope to be half the comic he is. And Josh was the first comic I've seen at Nitwits, when he was openning for Kirk Noland...seen Josh pretty close to hundreds of times, and made me laugh so hard every time I've seen him on stage...I kind of try to incorporate the styles of all of these comics with my style, and learn from them every time I see them.
