About Me
SRI AMMA BHAGAVAN .
Loved and worshipped by millions, Sri Amma Bhagavan are avatars for enlightenment and God realisation. They are one single avataric consciousness in two bodies. They represent the Divine feminine and the Divine masculine. Together Amma and Bhagavan power the process of enlightenment of the individual seeker as Yin and Yang, stillness and movement, Prakruti and Purusha. .
They are like the spirit, all pervading yet abiding in the deepest recesses of one's Being. They are the silent Presence powering the phenomenon of Deeksha everywhere. Far removed from the periphery of the various activities of the movement they reside at the Oneness temple. Deeksha anywhere in the world draws its power from the consciousness and the intent of Sri Amma Bhagavan. They are the life breath behind the any number of miracles that are experienced by the seekers. They manifest across space and time to people when they seek their help. Their consciousness not being limited to their physical body, Amma Bhagavan's manifestation even predates their birth.
.
What was hitherto possible for great masters, Sri Amma Bhagavan are making it possible for ordinary men and women. This immense power of the avatars is sourced in their compassion. To have a glimpse into their nature, let us reminisce one of those statements Sri Bhagavan made in a darshan, "A humanity that is already burdened by its struggle for survival cannot be given the additional responsibility of seeking its own enlightenment. Man cannot make it on his own, it has to be given to him". Sri Amma Bhagavan do not belong to any one people, one nation or one faith. They are for all mankind. Their vision is not a golden age for any one community or country. It is a Global Golden age.
.
THE ONENESS MOVEMENT .
The Oneness movement is not a creed, a cult or a sect. It is a process. It is a spiritual experience. It is not the same in any two countries. It seeks not to impose any beliefs or practices on any one. It is nothing by itself and has nothing of its own except the power to make your conviction into a personal truth, a reality. Oneness is not a new faith, seeking to unify all the faiths of the world into one homogenous mixture nor does it seek to make any one-faith triumph over the rest. .
Among the natives of the world, the Oneness movement is manifesting as a revival of the Shaman faith, in Japan it is reviving Buddhism, in the Christian world it is bringing back Christianity as Christ intended it to be, among the Muslims submission to the will of God as an actual experience, to the Hindu the state of mukti. It merely helps every individual discover the truth of his or her own faith through the power of Deeksha. .ONENESS UNIVERSITY INDIA .
is a result of noble vision of Sri Bhagavan and Sri Amma. This is a temple of all religions.Totally embracing all benefits, its mammoth three floor marble structure, now nearing completion, will be Asia..s largest hall without pillars, where 8000 people will be meditating together at one time. An extraordinary experience, unparalleled in human history awaits mankind, when 8000 people are meditating shall generate energy, never before realized on earth. .
The Oneness Temple will influence the morphogenic fields across the globe, elevating man to Enlightenment, an altered state of consciousness, ultimately culminating into "God Realization". Immeasurable Divine Grace of Sri Amma and Sri Bhagavan is naturally an awesome wonder.

Golden City is an area north west from Chennai (Madras) where the courses are held. There are several different campuses.

DEEKSHA .
People visit places of power, People of power. Deeksha is a phenomenon of power. Man has been endeavouring to raze down the wall of mind that separates him from God or the Transcendental. Meditations, techniques, teachings and every form of effort to still thought, instead of leading him to the goal, have made it farther away. Sri Bhagavan says, "Thought cannot end thought; effort cannot end effort, the self cannot end itself". Every pursuit strengthens the pursuer and meditation the meditator. When you know that the effort is counter productive, a new form of effort arises- the effort to stop all effort. Effort multiplies in an exponential ratio, effort, effort 2, effort 3. Thus numerous seekers fighting their battles with the mind have lost hope. A spiritual awakening calls for the outbreak of a massive phenomenon and 'Deeksha' is the response to that call.
.
It is 'God' or 'The Divine', now punching a hole on the wall for man to cross over.
.
'Deeksha' is based on an ancient principle that says, 'Anything could be transferred, be they states of consciousness, wisdom or energy'. In the Vedic lineage there is a story of a master who enraged at his disciple demanded that he return the wisdom imparted to him. The obedient disciple coughs out a 'golden ball of insights' bestowed by the master. The 'Pentecost' phenomenon where the apostles laid their hands and people had a plethora of experiences also testifies the principle of transfer. In many eastern traditions 'Mantras' were used by the masters to transfer spiritual experiences and wisdom.
.
Deekshas by themselves have varied forms; The transfer by touch ( Sparsha Deeksha), transfer through eyes ( Nayana Deeksha), transfer through an intent (Smarana Deeksha), etc. Based on the evolution of the individual (giver and the receiver) the mode of deeksha undergoes a change.
.
Deeksha thus given affects a neuro-biological change. There are 16 centres in the brain responsible for definitive experiences like sensory perception, emotions of jealousy, hatred, fear, compassion, love, joy, separation, connectedness, creativity, learning, etc. deeksha results in the activation of certain centres and the de-activation of certain centres bringing about a shift in the perception and experience of life. The process finally lands the seeker in a permanent, incredible state of consciousness.
.
A unique feature about this phenomenon is 'a deeksha given is also deeksha received'. When you receive a deeksha, you are a beneficiary. That is well known - But when you give a deeksha, your spiritual process is accentuated to a great extent. You play a role of a helmsman who himself crosses the river rowing others ashore. Millions across the globe are partaking divine grace in the form of Deeksha that quenches everyone's thirst.
.
It is the convergence of man's passion and God's compassion.
