About Me

Comedy WithOut Reservations is a show launched in January 2007 by four up-and-coming NYC area comics looking to provide an alternative to the traditional comedy club scene. Offering great showcases of some of NYC's best young comics, CWOR is the top comedy show in Midtown of Manhattan's East Side (go ahead, call it Middle East Side), an area that has long been in need of a comedy presence. Twice a month, CWOR's 4 charter comics (Godfathers, if you will) hit the stage with select guest comics to deliver smart, funny comedy at a great venue. There is never a cover charge .. just great comedy. If you want a break from paying an arm and a leg to see your friends or other comics at a major club, or if you live on the East Side and are just looking for a great night out - come check out Comedy WithOut Reservations.

Comedy WithOut Reservations is:

Pat Breslin (Theodore Roosevelt) - Single and looking, Pat is here for Dating, Networking, and Seriously Rocking Your Socks Off with his brand of high-energy, sugar-free comedy!.. Wow, that sounds ridiculous... I can't believe I just wrote that about myself... Pat Breslin is an embarrassment .. with a blog.

J-L Cauvin (Abe Lincoln) - Despite looking Italian at best, J-L is the only member of CWR with the genetic credentials to do "Urban Comedy Nights" at comedy clubs. He is considered the tallest comic in the group and has the Number 1 selling comedy CD in his family.

Jim Dodge (George Washington) - Jim Dodge is to the comedy scene what Patrick Swayze was to movies from the '80's...minus only the square-jawed machismo and amazing head of feathered hair. A huge hit already in countries you've never heard of, he's proud to have his act moving on up to the east side.

Josh Kaufman (Thomas Jefferson) - Josh Kaufman is the only married comedian in CWR. He is a regular on Asian, Latino and African American showcases all over the country. (Only white people seem to not like him.) When Josh Kaufman isn't performing stand up comedy he likes to sit on top of the TV and watch the couch.
