Band Members: Harriet Glover - vocals and piano Quintin Doyle - Cello Iain Sandilands - Cajon and basically any percussion instrument you can think of. His latest addition is a wheel of keys - amazing!
Influences: I love taking musical phrases from classical music and combining my own chords and ideas into a tasty tune. I guess i am heavily influenced by lovely jazz chord sequences. I've always been slagged a wee bit for the type of music I enjoy listening to but I suppose its given my a wide range of styles which i'm influenced by. I love Miles Davis, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Satie, Delius, Aaron Copland, early Jamiroquai, Beth Orton, The Guillemots, Pigeon Detectives, King Creosote, Giles Peterson, Ben Westbeech, Nina Simone, Ella Bell, Caragh Nugent, Roddy Hart, The Kings of Convenience, Belle and Sebastian, and many more..
Sounds Like: As a band we sound like a glorious fusion of subtle melodies, delicious bassy cello lines topped off with a hint of madness on the cajon.
