I used to think I was easy going and a simple kind of girl. Now I have come to believe that I am rather complex and there is some depth to the character in which God is building in me.I am in love with two men. One who died for me and one who is living for the One who died for me! I thank God everyday for the work He is doing in our marriage. According to so many, I had a "right" to end our marriage because of my husband's constant affair with pornography the first several years of our marriage but God said otherwise to me. It has not been easy, in fact it has been one of the most painful endeavors I have ever endured...but it has also been the one that drew me closer to the Lord Jesus. Funny how when we are on our knees, we have a better view of who He is. I wouldn't change a thing...for it has shaped and fashioned us into what God has called us to be. As He continues to work in us and in our marriage, we only grow closer to Him and to eachother. Only Jesus can do that...take something messy, ugly, stinky and useless and turn it into something beautiful, sacred, holy and priceless! Thank you Jesus, may others see the work of your heart in our lives.
I love adventure, the outdoors, animals (anything that moves really). I love music and art. I like to meet people from all walks of life and I tend to make friends quite easily. I like to laugh, I like to sing, I like to dance... sometimes all at once.
I have resided in Georgia for 5 years. It wasn't until I was totally moved out of my comfort zone, away from all that I knew, all that I loved and had lived for that God was able to bring me to the end of myself which led me into a freedom that can only be found when one sells out to God.
I like to read (although I find it hard to stay with just one book at a time), I like to paint, although I find there is little time left in the days to do this. I enjoy snow skiing, traveling, and last minute adventures. I am fascinated by animals and find them to be a wonderful part of God's gift to us.I have three dogs, each with their own wonderful personalities, each who think I am the greatest and are loyal to me and would never leave my side, which is more than I can say for some of the closest relationships I have had with people. When all else fails... get a dog!
I work along side two "goofball" pastors at Triple X Church and a team of servants who all have something in common, they are real about who they are and they are all willing to forsake all for the call. We are a ministry that I believe is changing the world we live in, one person at a time! Not only are we a team whose hearts are for those caught in the lies of the sex industry, but we are on a mission to educate the church about the porn epidemic within it's walls. What an absolute blessing to work with people who love you, who make you laugh and who care about the very people Jesus came to save. I honestly could not have chosen a better team to serve with. God is amazing like that.
