Greetings my name is Christopher Jahmeek. I am a independent raggamuffin DJ living a forward Rasta-mon life here in this current crucial time. I found the passion for moving entertainment through the power of music at a very early age in life. By following my heart and educating myself in more ways than one I lead my own destiney and scored my own goals by gathering knowledge from inspiring trials and tribulations in site of the Most High JAH RasTafai*** I started feeling the vibration as a young child by just listioning to what ever I could that was available for me at the time over headphones. This experience consisted mostley of parents records & free public airwaves. From then on I grew up a little through some fades and found myself selecting tunes for alot of party's and really learning then how to move a crowd by always keeping a steady helping of fresh cutts & hot toasted release's. After that I took it to another level in the early 90's when a friend introduced some hand-ons dubbing technique to me over a basic american disk jokey set up. This true refelection really encouraged I right then to start taking more interest towards the subject seriously. After that I began putting more of the peices together and worked hard creating custom mix's on cassette tape and trading them with friends. I was inspired by the popular energy from all of this to gain more motion by web streaming and radio broadcasting my program where it seemed fit to mek space for iNi. By reaching the inner limits of playlists & listioner requests I again felt bubbled and started studying soundsystem style waves that drew my attention with great interest because I could see more freedom in the underground cultured format, especialy with the mobile part of the speaker picture. During all of this I seeded the Selecta7souN'systeM when i moved to Arizona in the year 1997. By blooming out small time from the ground up, I learned the ropes the hard way off the raggy road from local rumble or international wire by supporting many concerts, hosting dances and recording own dubplates with various artists that helped earn the personal nickname: Selecta7' through the communication process. By taking this expereince further, I again found myself looking for more of a unchained form of entertainment & spiritual upliftment. I grew very uneasy at the time with alot of the slacky hip-rapper message being promoted around the dancehall scene in general that seemed really like the wrong way to go for iNi future with all due respects. From this notion I brought back the flyer title known as: Jahmeek Selecta and focused straight on the solo artist dub show again by myself with an open market catering to a broad music department managed by blending the Roots Reggae, Dancehall Steppers, Jungle Drum n' Bass and vocal mix style. I site away from that negative clashing style that can be sported on any home-computer these days and is not really repersenting the long hard studio work that was built like the past history of the massive long story tells on record. Today I trod ahead pushing dubwise over the live sound system with two wheels of steel(turntables), pro-mixer, loop sampler, extra special efx units, & microphones. The natural progression of it creates a nice up session for the conscious people. It roars a positive message for the head and feet that is aimed for the soul and ready for the heavyweight crowd to be plugged in by an honest promotion. I also collect and trade rare vinyl records and like to capture sound vibes with audio & video when possible. Positive music is a mission for I and not a competition for everybody tuned to this station!!! I support true Human Rights and beleive economic slavery should be apolished from our blessed planet for real. I feel there is nothing better than a morning chant or a daily meditation over a cup of tea & fresh herbs. I enjoy indoor winter dance sessions, outdoor peace festivals, camping and world travel. I can feel Jah Love burning with more fire every night & day I live. Yes Zion Train is coming our way!!! Leaving this here babylon is iNi journey.
