DUBASS SOUND IS ONE ARE WE:

Dubass Sound System is a sound with positive activities not only with music, also helping poor children around Africa in conjunction with ONE ARE WE , an organization working for the poor people from Nairobi - Kenya to East Africa throughout the continent. Legally registered by the Government of Kenya , who has been working with poor children in Africa for the past 15 years and well known by its work.

By cooperating, this is the positive move we have seen since where we have reached what we have done/doing cos we say only Inity can bring down the poverty by sharpening each other in a positive direction. One Are We and Dubass Sound System promote underground artists direct from the streets/slums having our own children 280 in number working with them and teaching them various skill to tackle poverty to come out of the streets and having many out of the streets and be coming teachers of the others. One Are We is an Organization of different kind formed of artists with different arts having its Band called WARRIORS BAND used to pass message of awareness in society with the Inity of Dubass. One Are We and Dubass use the artists they have brought up and the Organization artists to be the teachers of the children we educate. As we all know the world has changed but only people but not the Nature, so is we people still to change and live as it was with love and equality and work be done. Dubass and One Are We are International Organizations working from Europe to Africa with an aim of Unity. The Organizations work more than they talk cos we believe in working cos Man say Jah work MUST be done so we work as Governors of the POOR International to bring equal rights and justice to all with love to live. Also Collaborating with other Organization working for the same project such as Amref, Unicef, Governments Organizations such as Street Family Rehabilitation Trust Funds, Selassie Foundation Kenya and any positive person with positive program and being non POLITICAL. The activities we do in Kenya / East Africa for the children are so much important as they are most based on practical as we were able to be given two Social Hall in different towns so we opened a Recreation Centre so we educate children from Streets to Slums and proposed to Government to give out a Land to Street children. In these Social Halls we have various types of Education such as Arts & Design, School Education, Music Creating, Poetry, Acting, Creative Arts:(Weaving, drawing, beading and e.t.c). Also sports we teach such as: Acrobatics, Boxing, Football, Athletes and creating more but POSITIVE.

Since we started this program we see it growing emotively as many children are out of this life and now helping others to come out this life. By using Sound System in the project we saw it much educative as in every month we have a ghetto tour and streets moving on to Town to Town to Country to country to Continents. Right now from the underground music artist we have Albums produced by Dubass as this is our main mission to remain in slum to finish them as many artists on rich people after he/she starts earning. One Are We/Dabass we started from the scratch and still focussing on POOR side cos we know that the power is with the poor, with a great mission of Uniting poor and rich lets not focus only on music as music is to pass positive message of what I and I doing in this Mighty Land of the Creator, but also with activities taking the right position and work, its I and I right to work for the Nation.

So as we know many are asking for money as the major problem, many doing positive others on their own benefits going against their promise. As we say this is time of RASTA, time of consciousness, time of waking up and start working, positive time, working for Creation by HIM guidance. We ask for volunteers who can freely volunteer to this work by giving a 10euros a month. Giving 10euros to us you are giving KSH1000 where with KSH1000 you are able to fifteen children a day and by giving this 10euro you contribute to Dabass and One Are We and children.

The 10 euro we are asking is for the following:

- Education fees: Schoolchildren in the program require money to pay fees and learning materials

- Try to help families in opening small businesses, we do this by teaching them skills, visiting their homes and talking to the parents

- Focus on vocational training to help the children find an employment

- Teaching other volunteers how to handle the children

- Finding volunteers that can help both children and their families legally(Lawyers and Advocates) to fight for their rights

- Opening more Recreation Centres for children

- Try to find sponsors that can help the volunteers that usually spend the little money they have

The main if not the most important are the medical services, streets children due to their exposure to drugs, poor nutrition and exposure to poor environment they are prone to respiratory problems, skin infections, gastro intestinal diseases. Such diseases need constant treatment.

All in all, Dubass and One Are We sells hand made products most made by streets children in project such as : Music Albums, Poems, hand made products such as Leather Caps, Printed T shirts, weaved Caps, scarves, belts, Bead work chains, bracelets, earrings, bags and e.t.c .

Right now the main project Dubass/One Are We focussing is opening a school of Rastafari with full education from theory to practical to music as we have a piece of land based on Camping of teachers and volunteers. So by giving 10euro a month also we are not asking much, we count you as a member of the project so why we say please give in continuously every month so we can move with the project as there are many activities so to do them it depends on earning through donation and the cash we get from our work one being stalls we have for selling our products in different towns.
