Primaluna are:
Michele Russo (bass/voice)
Vasco Simonti (guitar/voice)
Niccolo' Menichini (guitar/voice)
Lorenzo Iori (drums/voice).
The band was born in Montecatini T. (PT – Italy) in 2002.
The guys decide at once to put their artistic commitment into songwriting.
So Primaluna start hard work in the studio, which will be a very useful, basic and uniting experience.
The goal is to find simple melodies, refined arrangements to combine together with introspective lyrics, then an effective rhythm will do the rest.
Time is spent trying to prepare a good repertory which brings serious results, so the young musicians become extremely popular every time they perform.
Their inner strength is to be a true band where each element is a mainstay for the others.
All four of them have a real, deep love for music.
Since the end of 2004, the guys get ready to play in Italian pubs and discos, not only because of their mutual musical passion, but also to purchase and to upkeep better instruments and equipment.
This parallel activity has regularly continued till today.
Yet songwriting never stops.
Primaluna have a wide variety of songs nowadays; all of them are rigorously written and arranged by themselves.

"Lucca Summer Giovani" (Pietrasanta LU - 09/06/’07)
- Classified first for the own turn of selection, gaining the semifinals. Song played: “Caro Diario”. Consequently we' ve been on air (Radio Blu, h. 12.00 AM) with an interview.
“Lucca Summer Giovani” (P.zza Anfiteatro, Lucca - 05/07/’07)
- Classified first, gaining the final on the international stage of “Lucca Summer Festival”, P.zza Napoleone. Song played: “Caro Diario”.
"Tour Music Festival" (Piper Club, Rome - 18/10/’07)
- The guys are placed between the first five original band (among the 26 admitted to the national semifinal) gaining the final on the gorgeous and historical stage of Piper Club in Rome, so they win Cet Award (Toscolano European Center), M.tro Mogol ’s prize reserved to the best young growing artists. Song played: “Caro Diario”.
The first collection of songs written by the four guys was released in September 2006.
