Help find Madeleine McCann!My current default photo is a replica of what Maddie was wearing the night she was taken. Do you know anything?

This young girl was abducted recently while on holiday in Portugal with her parents. Please help find her! She has a distinctive right eye, the pupil runs into her iris... See the links below...

Please help in the search for Madeleine McCann. It is not over yet. There are so many ways we can help - I'm doing my bit in my small way... I've made her family's 'Look For Maddie' image my default photo on my myspace page, uploaded some photos from photobucket, and written a blog about her disappearance. Please God let her be found soon. Let's not ever blame anyone except the perpetrator/s of this heinous and despicable crime.

When my children were little my little girl went missing from her Sunday School class (in a new church in our neighbourhood) unnoticed by her teachers. When adult church was over, I went to collect my two kids but found only my son. On asking for my daugher (who was then three, just like Maddie) I was given a look I'll never forget and asked 'which girl?'. I did not bother to argue - I went straight off in search of her. By God's mercy, she had only wandered off into the immediate area - not into the busy roads or large park with a lake in the general area! You can imagine what I lived through in those few minutes I searched for her.

What the McCanns must be going through now! And they still have to find the strength to look after the twins, who will also be grieving and missing Madeleine, and constantly asking them where she's gone!

Let's all pray that she is returned to them soon. It's too sad. No one deserves this!

Madeleine has a distinctive right eye where the black pupil runs into her blue-green iris... It looks like a little KEYHOLE!

The "I Am"s Of Christ

HOWEVER - He hates sin vehemently - so much that He deliberately took your sin and mine on HIS BODY AND THE SINLESS CHRIST DIED the death of a sinner instead of you and me.... WHY? To remove the only obstacle between us and God - our sin, and by His cleansing blood wash away our filthy stain and guilt and present us flawless and blameless before God the FATHER. He is the sinless lamb of God - slain as the propitiation for our sin - to appease God's righteous holy anger for our rebellion and sin. He exchanges our filthy garments with robes of righteousness, turns our mourning into gladness, gives us beauty in place of our rubbish and ugliness. What a Saviour!

Throughout His earthly span of life, Jesus actively made friends with sinners, He did not shun them as the religious leaders of His days did. His influence changed the sinner! He condemned the sin, but affirmed the sinner...

Over and over again, we hear him defend the right of the sinner to life, literally saving them from the open jaws of death at times. Then when all the storm is over, the sinner stands in contrition before His holy and loving presence, and He tells them to go their way, and sin no more! He sets sinners free!!! He breaks the heavy, binding chain of sin, bad habits, etc and bestows on the sinner the power to live a transformed life, Hallelujah!!!

My Testimony

This was how Jesus Christ saved me and made me part of His family...

I was an undergraduate at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Nigeria. In my penultimate year, I felt I needed nothing. I was very bright and also very outgoing. I partied hard and studied hard. I was with the 'in-crowd'. The christians were in the margins or fringes of my existence. I despised them even though I'd had a Christian upbringing. I was wiser now, I thought. I began to say there was no God, and that religion was man-made. I would argue with Christians who tried to tell me about Jesus Christ. I was a truly dedicated atheist. I believed in Darwin's theory of evolution. I tore up tracts and made fun of people sent to turn me around to God.

But the Lord still sought me. It so happened that on my way back from a trip to Europe I met an Israeli gentleman on the plane. Ben became a friend - we had so much in common just from talking on the plane. He sent one of his workers to me - and the young man (his name was samuel Chikezie) came round about three times before he met me. Each time he missed me, he left a tract and a message saying he had a message for me. I was irritated and thought he was just making an excuse to preach to me. I gave his tracts to other students, unread.

On Sunday the 4th of November he came again, with a Christian friend. This time I was in, and he told me his boss Ben sent him to me, but that he had another boss - Jesus - who had also sent him to me. He said Jesus loved me and gave Himself for me. I told him I had heard that all my life. I started to argue as usual and said there was no God. Samuel Chikezie was not fazed. His friend stood by silently praying as I spewed out all kinds of blasphemies against God, and against His Christ. I even asked how come Jesus was so long coming back? Finally I told them I was too much of a sinner - I had done so many wrong things no God - if there was one - would want me.

Sam and his friend were patient. They later told me they had fasted and prayed for me before they came that day. They answered all my objections with words from the Bible. They quoted from Isaiah chapter 1 verse 18 - "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

With regards to the Lord delaying his return, they also quoted another scripture - this time from the New Testament - "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance." 2 Peter 3 verse 9.

By the time they left, I was laughing so hard. I don't know what was so funny. I thought they were hilarious. I thought nothing they had said had affected me in any way.

I was wrong. After that day, I was just so sad. Nothing in my life satisfied me any more. My 21st birthday was approaching. My friends were preparing to throw a really big party for me. But my heart was not in it. I saw no point to life. I was so low, that if God had not had mercy I would have been suicidal. Two days later, one of my lecturers Dr Ejiwunmi - who was also a Christian - noticed that I was not my usual bubbly self and asked why I was sad. I blamed my mood on everything around me. Then he asked what I thought of Jesus. I told him my usual atheistic stuff. He then asked me how I would feel if God was real afterall and I faced Him on the day of judgment - unprepared...

By the end of that week, I went on my knees and wrote a letter to God. I told him I was sorry for going my own way. I wanted to live a new life in Jesus. I asked Him to forgive me and change me. I cried and cried. when I got up, there was so much joy in my heart I felt I could burst. I rushed out to share my good news with one religious family nearby.

I attended the Christian Fellowship that night when I got back to my campus. The people could not believe it when they saw me mount the steps to the stage to receive Christ as my saviour. I told them I had already done it earlier on in the afternoon, and just wanted to show myself to everyone. They were so happy for me. They became my best friends and companions. My life changed completely. My old friends also could not believe it either - and they said it was just a fad or phase I was going through. They said just give it six months, that I would be back. That was the 11th of November 1979. By God's keeping grace I'm still standing in Jesus Christ and on Him alone!

I fed on God's Holy Scriptures and attended the campus fellowhip and the local Foursquare Gospel Church at Karimu Street until I left Lagos for my National Youth Service at Eku Naptist Hospital near Sapele, Nigeria. The Lord also used books such as Josh McDowell's 'Evidence That Demands A Verdict' and Brother Jack Chick's publications to strengthen my faith. I love those brothers and sisters who explain scriptural truths so clearly, God bless the work of their ministry!

Since then I've had lots of different happy experiences - as part of life's highs and lows - such as graduating from med school, my first job, falling in love, getting married, having my first baby, graduating with a first-class honours degree in IT from a London university recently - but nothing compares to the joy I felt that day. Nothing comes even close to my relationship with the Lord... He's faithful and true!!!!

God did it for me, He can do it for you too! Trust Him when He says 'whosoever will'. That includes you, friend, no matter who you are or what you've done. Jesus Christ came to reconcile us to God and to bring those who are far and those who are near back to God! Come to God now! Tomorrow may be too late!!!

I am a mature postgraduate Computer Systems Auditing student with two teenage children looking to meet like-minded people from all over the world. My hobbies include singing, dancing (Salsa - a red hot Latin dance - is my favourite!) and rambling. I like driving but I also want to do my bit for the planet so I walk to work and nearby places as long as I do not have heavy shopping to carry. I am into recycling and I believe in making the world a better place than we found it...The greatest influence on my life is Jesus Christ - He's alive!!!

Having said that I am not into religion - I have a vibrant relationship with Jesus and want to be just like Him - but formal religion is off-putting. I am into reading the Christian bible and praying with God's help, and I live what I believe, but I do not have any outward sign of religion - no crosses, special headgear, holier-than-thou attitude, etc...
