The band was formed in 2004 by Mattia Liberali e Marco Molteni.
Their lives crossed in the classrooms of the “Catholic High-school De Amicis†in Cantù
where, facing conflicts with the strongly conformist environment and family frictions, they dedicated themselves to studying, especially human psychology, gothic and romantic subculture (the subculture’s environment always attracted them but never mirrored them as a whole).
Listening day and night, 24/7, to everlasting David Bowie, Marilyn Manson, Depeche Mode and Smashing Pumpkins, they started searching their own style and music and, eventually, they ended up finding Lorenzo Conti – 2nd guitar and Emmanuele Totaro- bass guitar.
Shenight also take in Claudio (ex Ortus Animae) as official drummer.
With the complete line-up and a new style, Shenight has been on the road at the end of March with dates in Russia...
The band’s mission is to live of its own art and to spread it all over the world.
