About Me

I'm 30 years old and what can i say life is good. Been an interesting journey to get to where i am now but it's all a lesson learned right? I work for Jam music running the chinese laundry for Them. It's a great place to work and it enables me to meet so many cool and interesting people as well as being apart of one of the most amazing venue's in Australia. It's a pretty demanding role but I love it as working clubs is something i have done for 11 years and I truly am not the same person when I don't have clubland in my life, what can i say I lurve it!! I'm very fortunate to be able to meet some of the inspirations of my generation to the music scene and looking after them while they are in town is definately a pleasure (most of the time). Dancing has been a passion for many years having danced semi professionally on podiums in night clubs to various music styles bring that phat beat on!!!! My friends are my family and I am greatful for the friends I have in my life as they are gold, they say you are judged by the company you keep well if thats the case then i'm doing just fine. Other than that my life is about fun and cramming as much as i can in so I'll see you at the club sometime. cheers and beers!!
Now about the club I work for...
If your into phat beats and big tunes then break inn is where it's at. Residents include Basskleph, Dopamine and The Impossibles. The night is really versatile in the range of music we play there with international acts such as Finger Lickin's Skool of Thought (massive shout out to Lloyd) to the rolling drum line's of Jason and Paul from Total Science we really have it covered if you love your breaks or Dnb. In true Chinese Laundry form We offer diversity with two different rooms operating on any given night with split genre's of music.
Saturday nights it's all about Club Club,a night so big it has an echo hahaha. This night is Sydney's most anticipated weekly event with the highest quality local DJ roster, the best upcoming and established interstate DJ's and the most awesome international weekly guests.
The Laundry has had everyone from Kevin Saunderson (who was absolutely amazing) to Trentmoller, Sandy Rivera to The Youngters where else in Sydney in fact Australia can you hear internationals on a consistent basis. You simply cannot find a more diverse night with 3 rooms of off the hook music WHERE IS THE LAUNDRY?

My Interests

Music:

breaks and d'n'b are my passions dance wise but hey good music can't be pigeon wholed so if it's quality i'm down with it. Other than that aussie hip hop rocks, you could say i'm a bit of a music whore as i like most of it from metal to rnb if it's catchy and original i'll dig it.

Movies:

i like to watch....... i love to be entertained so as long as the script isn't to predictable and there are laughs to be had i'm down with that.Comedy wise I dig Adam Sandler movies not sure why but i just do. The Bourne identity and and Supremacy are awesome and then my all time favourite is the Crow. So many honourable mentions Like the last of the mohigans, Anchorman, Bubble Boy, Man on Fire, Dark City, Nightmare Before Christmas, Remember the Titans, Braveheart (hell there are really just to many)

Television:

Snap.. My Name is Earl is hillarious, Futurama and sport (i can't help myself) other than that i don't really watch tv

Books:

Big fan of the writings of Dean Koontz haven't read a dud yet. Clive Barker "the Night Breed" is pretty good

Heroes:

So many amazing people in the world it's to hard to draw all my influences from just one person but i think if you try to do the best for others and be as unselfish as possible you'll go a long way in life...
