**Aliya**

Born to African American R&B soul singer Doug Williams, Aliya Williams has a natural love and gift for the arts, especially within singing & dancing. Since the age of 5 she has been performing in the public eye; in commericials, musicals, dance competitions and eisteddfods. As a teen she was involved in many successful ventures that saw her perform at some of Sydneys most prestigious venues, i.e. Sydney Entertainment Centre, Sydney Opera House and Sydney Town Hall and she was also given the opportunity to act alongside Russell Crowe in a stage play at the Ensemble Theatre. Aliya was a member of an all-girl pop group - Foxfire 4 - that were signed to Village Roadshow 2000-03. "Roses", their first single, hit No.4 on the Hot 30 Countdown for 104.1 2day FM. They performed at the massive pop concert Rumba at the State Sports Centre along side the likes of Nelly Furtado, Craig David and Emma Bunton (Spice Girls) and at numerous Sydney and Central Coast nightclubs, including Sydney's elite live venue, The Basement. These days Aliya is a solo writing & recording artist dabbling in Rnb, Electro & House music. Aliya is also a member and co-founder of "Allure Entertainment" a dance company specialising in dance party and nightclub entertainment, she was more recently featured in Paulini's film clip "Rough Day".
