David Smith

David Smith as a Canadian-born trumpet player who has made his home in Brooklyn NY since 2000. He is busy in the New York jazz scene, working in ensembles from trios to big bands. His first album as a leader was released in September of 2006 on Fresh Sound New Talent Records, and he can be heard as a sideman on more than a dozen recordings for Fresh Sound New Talent, Steeplechase, Interplay Records and independent releases.
