About Me

Ko Tomita was born and raised in Osaka, Japan. He began learning guitar at the age of fifteen. After graduating high school in 2004, he entered Koyo conservatory in Kobe, where he learned jazz, classical, Latin, pops and more. In 2005, he awarded a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music. In the fall of 2006, he moved to Boston to attend Berklee College of Music. He has studied with Bret Willmott, Jon Damian, Bruce Saunders, Tim Miller,Dave Santoro, and many other great teachers.
