About Me

I began my musical journey playing the cello and the orchestra snare in grade school and while attending military school in my early teens I received a firm foundation in military rudiments. I started playing professionally at age 13 where I played the drums for local bands in the New York Area and attended the performing arts high school, BOCES Cultural Arts where I discovered jazz. I graduated the New School for Social Research in NYC and in 2005 in went to Banff to study under Facility. In addition to releasing one cd as a leader: â€œFacing Awayâ€, I have recorded as a sideman on Justin Flynn's "Evolution" and Bryan Murray's "What you don't Forget" . I has performed with musicians such as Ben Monder, Lea Delaria, Brad Shepik, Dave Berkman, Ron Affif, Donny McCaslin, Dave Douglas, Greg Osby, Paul Bollenback and others.
